Summer Reading

Books I read between June 30-July 9th

Genre; author; title; rating and review

YA CHOYCE  Deconstructing Dylan 4 out of 5 stars. This one was about a boy that had a difficult family and a strange personality. It is about finding friends and being who you are.
SCI-FIC RABE  Fenzig’s fortune  2 out of 5 stars. Although I did like the story the writer was totally copying from Lord of the Rings.
ACTION/ADVENTURE KOONTZ  Icebound 3 out of 5 stars Not the usual mindtrip story that Koontz usually writes. It is not sci-fi or supernatural. Instead very man agains the elements action adventure story.
YA SUSPENSE HOROWITZ  Raven’s gate 4 out of 5 stars. I will want to read the sequels to this book. It is about supernatural powers and a foster boy that gets wrapped up in a bunch of weird happenings in a small town. Very good versus evil stuff.
SCI-FIC GOLDEN  The shell collector 2 out of 5 stars. This is not a young adult book, but it read like one. I guess it is supposed to be a Novela (longer than a short story, but shorter than a novel) Another small town with a supernatural problem.
FANTASY NAPOLI  Sirena I LOVE this author, so I read all her books. This one was not my favorite but it was a good mythological telling of a mermaids life and the trogan war.
