More Wow Work… 7th Grade
In this wow art work Yadira chose to help paint the Mexican flag. I think this is my favorite art work I have done this until, because its the Mexico flag and also it was my first time drawing a Mexican eagle on the Mexican flag. It was an experience doing this. I learn this year how to draw with shadows and shades of a regular drawing pencils but drawing different ways can make different more unique shadows.
This artwork is my “WOW” artwork, because it is one of the best pieces of artwork I made during this unit. Its is also an original design of my own creation and wasn’t copied off of anyone else’s artwork. I think the best thing about this piece of artwork was that I can move its legs and make it stand. While creating this artwork, I learned how to neatly and clearly hand sew the shape of whatever part I’m sewing so it turns out how I want it to. I also learned different ways to hand stitch fabric for my art project to make it stronger and neater.
I’ve had this idea on my mind for quit a long time and I thought about it carefully and  decided to do this. The best thing about this artwork is the heart in the middle because in my artwork I always like to show my love and passion about my artwork. One of the concepts that I learned through out this artwork was to not add to much glue but to put a layer of glue on the paper and gluing the paper and then going over it with another layer of glue so it can stay glued. A fun fact is that this flower is made out of a napkin.
This is a wow artwork because it took me more than 1 day to complete and its colorful. The best thing about this artwork is that its really colorful and neat. Its also a mirrored image. The concepts I learned while making this artwork is that if you make a line uneven with another line, it makes a whole half of the artwork kind of uneven.
This artwork is my wow artwork because I took my time and put effort into it and think it looks great. The best thing about my artwork is how fuzzy and soft it is and it can be used for different things. While making this artwork I learned different ways I could weave the yarn and I also learned not to make it too tight or it will look weird.
Jenifer is my WOW! artwork because I spent multiple periods working on her and put so much heart and laughter that I feel she needs to be promoted in some way. The best thing about Jenifer is her facial hair because I feel every great piece of art needs facial hair. I have learned that when scraping clay you should use water to smoothen out the clay.
